English for Secretarial

English for Secretarial is a course designed to help individuals improve their English language skills specifically in the context of a secretarial or administrative role. The course will cover a variety of topics including:

  1. Business Writing: Students will learn the conventions of writing professional emails, letters, and documents, and how to write effective business correspondence.

  2. Vocabulary and Grammar: Students will learn the specific vocabulary and grammar needed for written and spoken communication in a secretarial setting.

  3. Telephone Skills: Students will learn how to communicate effectively over the phone, including how to take accurate messages, transfer calls, and handle difficult situations.

  4. Meetings and Presentations: Students will learn how to prepare and participate in meetings, take minutes, and make presentations.

  5. Listening and Comprehension: Students will practice listening to and understanding spoken English in a variety of contexts, such as in meetings or on the phone.

  6. Pronunciation and Intonation: Students will learn how to improve their pronunciation and intonation in order to be understood more easily and sound more professional.

The course will be taught in English and will use a variety of teaching methods such as lectures, group work, role-playing, and interactive activities. The course will be designed to help students develop practical skills that they can immediately apply in the workplace.
