Advanced Cardiac Life Support
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and intervene in cardiac emergencies. Our courses are accredited by the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
During the course, participants will learn advanced interventions for cardiovascular emergencies, including cardiac arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes. The course includes both didactic and hands-on learning, with participants practicing techniques such as airway management, defibrillation, and pharmacological interventions. The course also covers the use of advanced monitoring techniques, including electrocardiography (ECG) interpretation and capnography. The course is ideal for healthcare professionals who work in emergency medicine, critical care, or cardiac care, as well as those who may be called upon to respond to cardiac emergencies in any healthcare setting.
Course Objectives:
Identify and respond to cardiac emergencies, including cardiac arrest, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
Apply advanced interventions for cardiovascular emergencies, including airway management, defibrillation, and pharmacological interventions.
Interpret electrocardiography (ECG) and capnography readings for monitoring and diagnosis.
Demonstrate effective communication and coordination in a team-based approach to emergency care.
Course Requirements: To enroll in the ACLS course, participants must have a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. The course is open to healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, paramedics, and other allied health professionals.
