Heartsaver First Aid
The Heartsaver First Aid course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to respond to and manage medical emergencies in the workplace or community. We are accredited by the American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
During the course, participants will learn how to recognize and respond to a variety of emergency situations, including bleeding, shock, burns, and fractures. The course emphasizes the importance of quick and effective action in emergency situations, as well as the use of basic first aid equipment.
The course includes both didactic and hands-on learning, with participants practicing techniques such as bandaging, splinting, and wound care. The course also covers the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and the administration of epinephrine auto-injectors for severe allergic reactions.
