English for Catering
English for Catering is a course designed for individuals working in the catering and hospitality industry who want to improve their English language skills. The course covers a range of topics including:
Vocabulary related to food and drinks, kitchen and tableware, cooking techniques, etc.
Grammar and sentence structures used in menus and recipes
Customer service and how to interact with guests, including taking orders, answering questions and dealing with complaints
Telephone and email communication, including making reservations
Reading and understanding food safety and hygiene regulations
The course will use a variety of methods such as interactive activities, role-plays, and real-life scenario discussions to enhance students' fluency and confidence in using English in a catering setting. By the end of the course, students will have a better understanding of the language and terminology used in the industry, and will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests, and suppliers.
